Projects vs Generations

Projects:

A project is a container for your writing work that includes:

  • Project Name

  • Input settings and configurations Including. All inputs are auto-saved to their project:

    • Your Prompt

    • Author Name

    • Other inputs for Table of Contents, Web Search and Diagrams (Optional)

    • Your Outline (Optional)

Think of a project as a template that can be used multiple times to generate different versions or iterations of your work.

Projects are perfect for:

  • Maintaining consistent settings across multiple generations

  • Organizing related works

  • Iterating on your work while keeping previous versions

Generations

A Generations is a specific instance of content created by the AI within a project. Each time you run a project, it creates a new Generation with:

  • Unique outputs (PDF, LaTeX, Overview)

  • Timestamp and version information
